I'm Tim ↔ a visual designer with seven years in branding, art direction and visual communication. I started out in film, writing and directing short films, and one of them took first place at a youth film festival. That instinct for storytelling still runs under everything I design.

Somewhere along the way I got drawn to the part most designers skip: the system beneath a look, the structure that lets a brand hold together across every format and keep working after its maker has left the room.

I build brands that keep running without me.

Systems, not one-offs

I design so that other people can build on what I make. For Private Equity NXT, LIQID's private-markets sub-brand, I developed a single campaign idea into a documented system that scaled across print, out-of-home, social, digital and 3D while keeping its logic intact. The look held because the system underneath it held.

Ownership

I take responsibility early, often before a role formally calls for it. My bachelor thesis was a 105-page brand manual for LIQID, later adopted as the company's first brand manual and used as the reference for how the brand was documented. I tend to notice where structure is missing and build it.

From concept to shipped

A concept is the starting point. The harder part comes later: the edge cases, the formats nobody planned for, the production details that only surface at scale. I stay with a project through to the finished, rolled-out result, and that final stretch is where I do my most valuable work.

Leading without a title

Much of my work has meant leading without direct reports: coordinating freelancers and agencies, aligning colleagues around a shared direction, and supporting hiring for the design team. I'm used to owning an outcome, with or without formal authority.

I've worked across very different environments, from a small startup to a creative agency and most recently at LIQID, a fintech scale-up the Financial Times has ranked among Europe's fastest-growing companies. There I created customer experiences across print, digital and social, and led creative projects and collaborations end to end.
